Two Financial Center is a 12-story, 214,269 square foot Class-A office development located in the Financial District of downtown Boston. Designed by Arrowstreet, a distinguished architectural firm headquartered in Boston, this property is a joint venture with Lincoln Property Company. The property is convenient to the major transportation options in Boston; it is adjacent to the Central Artery, two blocks east of the Massachusetts Turnpike (Interstate 90), and one block west of the South Station Transportation Center, which is the main commuter train station within and into Boston. The area surrounding the property was enhanced with green space as part of the southern tip of the Rose Kennedy Greenway, which is part of the Central Artery roadway improvements. In September 2008, the Fund executed a 115,000 square foot lease with KPMG, the anchor tenant. Construction began in July 2007, and the property delivered in the second quarter of 2009. |
