Located in Los Angeles, California, the site consists of a 14-acre land parcel that can accommodate up to 897,000 square feet of Class-A office space. In March 2007, The Real Estate Fund closed on Phase I of the Playa Vista investment (sold in January 2011) and in the second quarter of 2007, the Fund closed on Phase II. The larger Playa Vista area is a large mixed-use development totaling approximately 1,087 acres of residential, retail, and office. The project's location in the lower west side of Los Angeles is superb; it is three miles from the Pacific Ocean and within five miles of the Los Angeles International Airport. The Playa Vista site is one of the only developable large blocks of space in West Los Angeles. |
