Robert B. Bellinger, CFA
President  
Responsible for all functions of ASB’s Real Estate Division. Robert has over 20 years of real estate investment experience, and has completed over $8 billion in real estate capital transactions during his career. Prior to joining ASB Capital Management, Robert worked with Lend Lease Real Estate Investments heading the Private Client Group, directing the National Asset Sales group, and leading the acquisition of equity and debt investments in the Washington, DC region. Prior to joining Lend Lease in 1990, Robert worked as Development Project Manager with Trammell Crow Company. He is the founder and a current board member of Rebuilding Together Philadelphia. Robert received a BA with honors from Haverford College and an MBA from the Wharton School.               
 

 

 

 

 

David T. Quigley
Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer  
Responsible for real estate acquisitions in the Western Region of the United States, and based in the San Francisco office. Prior to joining ASB Capital Management, Mr. Quigley was a Partner and Senior Vice President in the Los Angeles office of ING Realty Partners, where he was primarily responsible for investment activity, including identifying, evaluating and closing transactions; negotiating joint venture documentation with capital and operating partners; and obtaining third party debt to facilitate closings. Prior to joining ING Realty Partners, he was Director of Project Finance for Essex Property Corporation. Mr. Quigley received a BA degree from Stanford University and an MBA from Columbia University.

H. James Darcey
Managing Director
Responsible for ASB’s Eastern Region real estate portfolio, including new investment activity, asset management and property dispositions. Prior to joining ASB Capital Management, Mr. Darcey was Senior Vice President, Asset Management and Acquisitions, at Lowe Enterprises Real Estate Group in Washington, DC, primarily responsible for all asset and property management activities in the Eastern region, including the management of asset management and property management personnel. He received an MBA from the University of Southern California and a BS degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in Accounting, from the University of San Diego.

Responsible for acquisitions, asset management, financing, and disposition of investment properties in ASB’s real estate portfolios. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Wedin was an assistant vice president at Kennedy Associates Real Estate Counsel, Inc.  Ms. Wedin received a Master of Science in Real Estate from Johns Hopkins University and International Business and Foreign Language degrees, summa cum laude, from the University of Alaska Fairbanks.  Ms. Wedin is an active member of the Urban Land Institute Washington, D.C. and sits on the Board of Directors for CREW DC and the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of the Mount Vernon Triangle Community Improvement District.  In 2009, Ms. Wedin was recognized by CREW Network as one of the "Top 20 Under 40" real estate professionals nationally and in 2008 she received the CREW DC Rising Star Award.

Latasha Edwards  
Vice President 
Responsible for valuing, underwriting, and due diligence of potential acquisition opportunities and asset management of existing investment properties. Prior to joining ASB Capital Management, Ms. Edwards worked as a financial analyst with Jones Lang LaSalle, conducting market research and performing financial analysis on real estate lease and ownership opportunities for corporate clients. She also worked with McKinsey & Company as a business analyst. Ms. Edwards received an AB degree, cum laude, in Economics from Harvard University and an MBA from the Wharton School.

Vice President
Responsible for the asset management of stabilized and value-add properties, as well as for the valuation, underwriting, and due diligence of potential acquisitions, and based in the San Francisco office. Prior to joining ASB Capital Management, Mr. Kowell worked at Bank of America in Charlotte, NC as an analyst in the Money Markets Group. Mr. Kowell received a BA degree with majors in Mathematics and Economics, and a minor in Classical Studies from the University of Pennsylvania.

John P. Skram, CFA, CPA
Managing Director
Responsible for portfolio management and investment strategy implementation for separate account assets. Mr. Skram has 30 years of investment experience, and joined ASB Capital Management in 1985. Prior to joining ASB, he worked as a General Manager at the real estate investment arm of Prudential Insurance Company. Mr. Skram received a BS degree in Accounting and Management from Saint Mary’s College and an MA degree in Accounting and Management from the University of Minnesota. He is a member of the Association for Investment Management and Research, the Washington Society of Investment Analysts, the American Institute for CPAs, and the District of Columbia Institute of CPAs.

Nicolas Franzetti
Vice President
Responsible for portfolio and performance management, as well as valuing, underwriting, and due diligence of potential acquisition opportunities. Prior to joining ASB Capital Management, Mr. Franzetti worked at Friedman Billings Ramsey performing fixed income research and at First Advantage Mortgage Company as a loan manager. Mr. Franzetti received an MBA from Georgetown University and a BA in English Literature from McGill University. He is an active member of the Urban Land Institute Washington, D.C.

Responsible for property accounting and investor reporting for ASB’s real estate portfolio. Ms. Lewis also conducts due diligence on new property investments, including auditing financial reports, tenant reports, and service contracts. She has over 20 years of experience in budgeting, forecasting, planning, and accounting for Chevy Chase Bank and its affiliated companies. Ms. Lewis received a BS degree, summa cum laude, in Business Administration from Trinity College.

Prior to joining ASB, she worked with A.A. Beiro Construction Co., preparing financial data for properties under construction. Ms. Romero received a BS degree in Accounting, and is presently pursuing an MS degree in Accounting and Financial Management, from the University of Maryland.

Responsible for overall business development and client service activities. Ms. McCoy has over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining ASB Capital Management, she was Managing Director of Sales and Marketing of Allied Investment Advisors. Prior to that, she was a Senior Vice President in NationsBank’s National Clients Group. Ms. McCoy is a graduate of Cannon Trust School.
