ASB Real Estate Investments appoints Brendan J. Reed SVP and General Counsel

WASHINGTON, DC – ASB Real Estate Investments announced today that Brendan J. Reed, a partner at Kirkland & Ellis LLP, has left the firm to be appointed as Senior Vice President and General Counsel of the company, effective October 16, 2017. Mr. Reed is responsible for overseeing all aspects of ASB’s legal affairs and is a member of the management and investment committees, playing a key role in advising on the strategic direction of the company.

While in private practice, Mr. Reed practiced corporate, commercial and securities law with experience in real estate, mergers and acquisitions, board governance, and business strategy. He holds a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law and an A.B. degree magna cum laude from Harvard University.
